Let’s talk about real abundance—the kind that fills your soul with magic, not just your Amazon cart.

When we hear “abundance,” our minds often jump to huge mansions, dream vacations, and walk-in closets the size of a small country.

But true abundance? It’s not about hoarding designer bags or having a 10-car garage. It’s about feeling deeply fulfilled, knowing you are enough, and realizing the magic that already exists in your life.

Because let’s be real—plenty of people have stuff  but still feel REALLY empty. And plenty of people live simply but feel like they’re living in absolute abundance.

So, how do we cultivate that kind of abundance? Let’s dive in.

1. Define Abundance Your Way

First things first: What does abundance actually mean to you?

Forget society’s definition of bigger, better, more. Let go of the idea that abundance is measured by luxury cars, walk-in closets, or the latest kitchen gadget or appliance promising to change your life (unless the stove preps, cooks and serves the meal while I kick back with a good book, I’ll pass 😂)

And while we’re at it, forget the picture-perfect Instagram feeds showing immaculate homes, designer wardrobes, and perfectly plated meals. That’s not abundance—that’s a highlight reel.

Now, take a deep breath and zoom in on your life.

What truly makes you feel full?

What moments, experiences, and simple joys make you pause and think, this is enough?

✨ Maybe it’s the freedom to work from home while snuggling your little ones.

✨ Maybe it’s curling up with a good book and a hot cup of coffee in a space that feels peaceful and yours.

✨ Maybe it’s knowing you have time for what lights you up—whether that’s creating, traveling, or just having slow, quiet mornings.

True abundance isn’t something you need to chase. It’s something you define for yourself—and, chances are, it’s already closer than you think.

2. Focus on What You Already Have

Abundance isn’t something you get—it’s something you notice. It’s not about waiting until you have more, do more, or achieve more. It’s about realizing how much you already have right now.

We live in a world that constantly tells us to chase the next big thing—the bigger house, the dream vacation, the fancier car. And while there’s nothing wrong with wanting more, true abundance starts when you stop focusing on what’s missing and start appreciating what’s present.

Take a moment to flip your perspective. Ask yourself:

🌿 Do I have a safe, warm place to call home?
🍎 Is there food in my fridge and water to drink?
💛 Are there people in my life who care about me?
🌟 Do I have the ability to learn, create, and dream big?

These might seem like simple things, but they’re literally EVERYTHING. There are people in the world who would trade places with you in a heartbeat just for these essentials.

Gratitude isn’t just a “let’s make ourselves feel good” practice—it’s powerful. It rewires your brain to recognize the abundance that already exists, right here, right now. And the more you see it, the more it grows.

So today, instead of focusing on what you don’t have, take a second to appreciate what you do. You might just realize you’re already so much richer than you thought. 💕

3. Step Out of Scarcity Mode

Scarcity is really such a bitch. It’s that nagging voice whispering, There’s never enough. Never enough time, money, success, opportunity, love, joy, you name it. It keeps you stuck, always chasing and wanting more.

Try this instead:

  • Flip the script. Instead of saying, “I can’t afford this,” try, “I’m choosing to spend my money differently right now.” Or even better—ask yourself, “How can I afford this?”  I heard this on a podcast years ago and it stuck with me. This simple shift moves you from a mindset of lack to one of possibility, helping you see opportunities instead of limitations.
  • Ditch the ‘just in case’ clutter. Hoarding things (or ideas, or opportunities) out of fear keeps you tied to lack. Trust that what you need will come. We just went through our entire house over the last week and filled a dumpster with the “just in case” clutter and it feels SO much lighter. If you haven’t worn it, used it or thought about it in 6 months, let it go.
  • Believe in expansion. When you shift your perspective and start being open to receiving, you’ll find LIMITLESS amounts of love, success, opportunity, creativity, etc. Possibility is everywhere.

4. Make Room for More of What Matters

Abundance isn’t about cramming more into your life—it’s about making space for what truly matters. It’s not about filling every corner of your home, your calendar, or your mind with stuff—it’s about intentionally choosing what deserves to be there.

I personally love open, clutter-free spaces in my home—empty drawers, clear countertops, open cabinets, and bare walls. There’s just something about the breathing room that makes everything feel lighter, calmer, and more intentional.

🔹 Declutter your space. Look around—out of all the things you own, what is actually adding value to your life? Clear out the things that no longer serve you so you can create a home that feels peaceful instead of overwhelming.

🔹 Declutter your schedule. You don’t have to say yes to everything, no matter who is asking (family, friends, etc). Prioritize the things that light you up and say no (without guilt!) to what drains you. Always being busy isn’t a badge of honor – intentionality is.

🔹 Declutter your mind. Let go of negative self-talk, comparison, and limiting beliefs. Make room for self-compassion, confidence, and a mindset that supports the life you want to live.

When you intentionally clear space, you make room for better—more joy, more peace, more moments that actually matter.

5. Give Because You Can

Want to feel abundant instantly? Give.

But it isn’t just about giving money—you can give of your time, energy, and kindness as well. It’s about showing up for others in big and small ways, knowing that generosity creates a ripple effect.

💛 Share your time and skills. Help a friend with a project, mentor someone, or offer your expertise without expecting anything in return.

💛 Offer kindness and encouragement. A genuine compliment, a kind message, or a simple “I see you, and you’re doing amazing” can change someone’s day.

💛 Help where you can. Hold the door, pay for a stranger’s coffee, donate what you no longer need. Generosity reminds you that there is always enough to go around.

Abundance flows when you trust that giving doesn’t deplete you—it expands you. And when you give from a place of knowing you already have enough, life finds a way to give back to you tenfold.

Note to Self: You Are Already Abundant

The secret to abundance? It was never about getting more. It’s about feeling more—more present, more grateful, more open to life’s possibilities. (And there are SO many possibilities!)

You don’t need a million dollars, a dream house, or a picture-perfect life to feel abundant. You need perspective.

Abundance is already here. You just have to see it.

Your Next Step:

Look around you right now. What’s one thing that makes you feel abundant? Drop it in the comments, or better yet, write it down as a reminder that you already have more than enough. 💫
